"Then if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14
Hey folks,
The 2nd Annual Eucharistic Procession of Reparation will take place at the Capitol building in Montgomery on Saturday, January 24th, from 10:45 AM - 12:00 PM. The procession with the Holy Eucharist will circle the State Capitol three times in silent prayer in reparation for the past and present sins of abortion in our state.
If you are a Knight, please talk to your council about coming to Montgomery en masse and participating in this procession to join with your fellow Knights from Wetumpka who are involved in organizing this event.
Does your child attend a youth group at your parish or go to a Catholic school? If so, please talk to the Youth Minister at the parish or to the principal of the school to see about getting a group together to join this procession. Ever since the Diocese of Birmingham discontinued the March for Life high school bus trip to Washington, D.C. a few years ago, there hasn't been any kind of large pro-life event that our Catholic youth could get involved with. Well, here's one they can be a part of and it doesn't involve an overnight bus trip!
While abortions are illegal in our state, they are nevertheless taking place through the private use of abortion pills. So, please, join us on January 24th in Montgomery to pray for the babies who were never born...and for the babies who are yet to be born.
