This is sort of a last minute deal, but I just wanted to let you know that we have about 10 spots still open for Birmingham Awakening 1, the weekend of April 10-12, at the Springville Retreat Center. The Awakening is a retreat for college students that has set Catholic campus ministry programs on fire at campuses around the country. Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, Colorado State, and many more campus ministry programs have been uplifted by this awesome retreat. At Texas A&M, the Awakening is credited with making it the #1 Catholic campus ministry program in the country. They recently had Aggie Awakening #100!
Anyway, I know it's late, but if you have a college student that can get away for that weekend (Springville is just outside of Birmingham), I guarantee that they will be glad they did...and so will you. To register for the retreat, go to: bamaawakening.wordpress.com The retreat will start at 7:30 PM on Friday and end around 12:30 PM on Sunday, with Mass.
The cost is only $45. After you register you will receive an email with all of the information and details you need for the weekend including a map with directions. Trust me on this one, folks...if you can get your kid to this retreat, you really want to do so.
